Mindy joined the Board in 2003, becoming Chairman in September 2010. She runs her own consulting practice, advising clients in the private, public and voluntary sector on strategy, change and organisational development, both in the UK and overseas. Mindy lives in London with her husband Ben and two young children. She is also a trustee of the British Scholarship Trust, and is a keen (if haphazard) gardener and baker of cakes. Mindy’s ideal break is a day at the Chelsea Flower Show.

She is also currently on the Board of Brentwood Theatre and previously Hornchurch Theatre Trust and the development council of Shakespeare’s Globe. She was made a Freeman of the City of London in 1984. Her interests include golf, tennis and theatre.

Philip is an accountant and has worked in the finance sector for 25 years across a wide range of disciplines, specialising in risk for the past six years. He lives in Kent with his wife Melanie and their four children, two cats and a selection of chickens. Philip’s ideal holiday is something active and mad like climbing Everest or canoeing the Amazon – but nothing scary!

He is the founder and current MD of consulting and training business Ashton Brand Consulting Group, which helps businesses to implement training solutions that transform their customer experience, manage change and enhance performance. Mike hopes to bring his considerable experience to bear in support of Revitalise’s marketing activity. Mike plays drums for a Beatles tribute band and his ideal break would be a road trip around Europe, playing at all the great music venues and taking in the sights.

He has worked on the policy and development side of social care for a lot of his working life, most recently on a selfemployed basis, and has spent much of the past few years working to improve outcomes for people with learning disabilities. Richard is married and lives in Twickenham with his wife Zoe. He particularly enjoys walking up Mount Snowdon with Zoe and friends and his ideal break is always the next one!

Simon joined the Board in 2013 and is Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee. He is currently Head of Audit at Nationwide Building Society. Simon’s background is in stakeholder management, financial controls, financial appraisals and internal and external audit. He was also a trustee of Nationwide’s charitable foundation for five years until 2013. Simon went the extra mile (then the remaining 25.2) for us when he completed the London Marathon with Team Revitalise in 2014. He lives in Chepstow with his wife and two young children. Simon’s favourite break is spending time with his family and relaxing in the sun.

Victoria is a solicitor who specialises in advising charities and social enterprises. She has worked at Bates Wells and Braithwaite, a leading charity and social enterprise firm, since 2012. Before that she worked in-house as a solicitor at the NSPCC and trained at the commercial law firm, Jones Day. Victoria lives in North London with her husband and baby son William. She enjoys volunteering at Kith & Kids, a Tottenham based charity which supports people with a learning disability or autism and their families. Any spare time is usually spent watching or playing sport and an ideal break is by the seaside!

He now works as an independent consultant and director of Care Inc Ltd, providing management and practice support for social care providers. Peter lives in Worcestershire. His ideal break would involve exploring a large city and then relaxing on the beach.

Lesley is a marketing and strategy leader and Director at Polyco Healthline, the knowledge and innovation behind protection and hygiene products for people, their homes and places of work in the UK and Europe. She is also founder of KOYO, which helps executive and marketing teams build 2020 Marketing capability through customer led growth strategies and the creation of cross silo teams to deliver them. Lesley lives in North London with her husband Jorgen and often holidays in his home country of Sweden. Ideal holiday would be an American road trip with lots of walking in its national parks.
