Star performed for guests as part of Ultimate 90s Week.
On Friday 15 April, Kavana – 90s pop icon, star of ITV2’s The Big Reunion and Channel 5 Celebrity Big Brother contestant – was welcomed to Revitalise Sandpipers in Southport to entertain guests.
Kavana’s performance – at the charity’s respite holiday centre on Southport’s Marine Lake ended the charity’s ‘Ultimate 90s’ week on a high note, taking guests back to the heyday of the nineties.
Having wowed the crowd with his vocal talents, Kavana also took the time to pose for photos with guests, staff and volunteers at the centre, a fantastic finish to the evening’s entertainment.
Entertainment is an important part of the break experience offered to guests, with a variety of themed weeks provided all year long. Ultimate 90s week, a brand new addition to the charity’s theme week calendar, was a fantastic opportunity for guests to have fun celebrating the ultimate party decade.
Speaking of the evening’s success, Leslie ‘Sparkey’ Sparkes, Guest Relations Manager at Revitalise Sandpipers, commented:
“Huge thanks to Kavana for making sure that the end of our ‘Ultimate 90s’ week was all we could have hoped for and so much more. It was a real pleasure to have him perform for us all at Sandpipers. It is always such a great feeling to see our guests having fun and letting their hair down – after all, that’s what taking a break is all about – having a great time and leaving with even greater memories.”
Kavana achieved chart success with a number of hits, reaching number eight in the UK pop charts back in 1997 with ‘I Can Make You Feel Good,’ originally recorded by Shalamar in 1982.
