Stars of romantic video celebrate Valentine’s Day together
Lovebirds and regular guests at Revitalise Sandpipers – Carl Ashcroft and Tracey Stewart – are stars of a new fairytale themed video of love and laughter, in celebration of their affection for one another.
The video documents key moments in the couples relationship, including the time the pair were first introduced to each other. Speaking on the video, Carl commented: “On Queen Week, the first time that we met, I just fell in love with her.”
The road to romance wasn’t entirely straightforward for the couple though, as Tracey was already spoken for, meaning that Carl had to wait. Luckily he was more than happy to oblige, explaining: “Good things happen to those people who wait.”
The couple are now very much in love, having celebrated their engagement last year surrounded by friends and staff at Sandpipers, the very place where Carl chose to pop the question. Moments spent together during their respite holidays are particularly poignant for the pair, as it is the only time that they are able to physically see each other: “We come to Sandpipers four or five times a year and that’s the only time we can meet.”
Carl and Tracey are spending Valentine’s Day (14 February), together this weekend.
The heartwarming video entitled ‘That’s Amore’ was created to showcase the couple’s touching story of romance, while highlighting the charity’s work and demonstrating that a Revitalise break can be so much more than a holiday – it can also be the road to love.View all news stories →
