Our shops are a valuable way for Revitalise to raise funds for our vital work. We strive to become part of the local community and apart from raising money, each Revitalise shop plays a major role in recycling.
Our shops sell donated products only and we are always glad to receive your donations. So whether you’re having a spring clean, are moving house or have an unwanted gift to spare you can raise funds for Revitalise.
How our shops work
All our items are donated by our supporters in the local community and are processed in store. Our team will sort donation and inspect to ensure all items are clean and have everything intact. The garments are then steamed to clean and freshen up before being priced and ready for the shop floor.
What we welcome:
Most good condition items, including:
- clothes and shoes
- bags, belts and jewellery
- books and CDs
- toys (with CE mark only)
- anything that you no longer require but you think that someone else could put to good use
Unfortunately we are unable to accept:
- electrical goods (because of safety regulations)
- other safety products (such as crash helmets, baby car seats and riding hats), because we have no way of knowing if they have ever been involved in an accident, which would compromise their effectiveness
- large items of furniture (owing to lack of storage and display space)
- toys without a CE mark
We can’t collect your goods but we are delighted to accept donated goods delivered to each of our shops during opening hours. These are sorted and made ready for sale by our dedicated team of volunteers.
If you would like to join our team and help make our shops a success then visit the Volunteer at a Revitalise Shop page.
We look forward to seeing you soon! Our shops are close to the high street and near to parking to allow easy access for donations.

How your donation supports disabled people and carers
Your donation will enable disabled people, carers and families in Hampshire and beyond to enjoy a desperately needed break at a Revitalise centre, including Netley Waterside House in Southampton. Our other centres are situated in Essex and Southport.
