We don’t know about you, but the fact that this week marks a whole year since we first entered lockdown has got us feeling pretty desperate for a change of scenery.
Of course, things still feel quite uncertain, but with the UK hitting record vaccination numbers and the weather brightening up at the same time, perhaps it’s time to start thinking about booking a break?
If you’re still on the fence, here are seven reasons why we think booking a Revitalise break right now is a great idea…
1. Make the most of some massive savings!
Between now and June we’ve discounted our prices to offer you savings of up to £450*! The discounts reflect the fact that we aren’t offering official excursions and activities, but rest assured there is still plenty of fun going on at Sandpipers. As well as in-house activities like crafting and karaoke, you’ll be able to enjoy trips around the Marine Lake, swims in the pool, and visits to Southport’s town centre.
2. Know you’re in safe hands
Keen to get back to seeing friends and family, but still feeling a little anxious about the risk of Coronavirus? We know how you feel. As restaurants and bars start to open up and socialising becomes part of our lives again, it’s normal to feel nervous, especially when you’re not sure how closely everyone else is following the rules. Thankfully, at Sandpipers we have a strict Covid testing policy in place, as well as several other infection control measures that ensure our centre is one of the safest places you can be right now! 3. Max out your annual leave
If either you or your carer is working, you’ll know how precious annual leave is. The trick is to be clever with it now, so you have more days to play with later in the year! For example, did you know if you take a break over Easter you can get away for 14 days and only take 8 days of annual leave? Or, if you’re a carer and your loved one comes to Revitalise over one of the May bank holidays, you’ll have a day where you can enjoy some time to yourself without worrying about caring or work – imagine!
4. Don’t miss out on all the fun
It might not feel like it now, but as soon as restaurants re-open and people can start going on staycations, trust us, they will! So why should you miss out on all the fun? Lots of places are already booked up well into June, and we’ve certainly seen an uptake in bookings this month, so make sure you don’t miss out and get something to look forward to booked in before it’s too late.
5. Book with confidence
Want to have something to look forward to but worried about the hassle and costs of having to cancel if anything changes? You’re not alone! That’s why we’ve introduced our Book With Confidence Guarantee, which means you can easily cancel or amend your booking (for any reason) with absolutely no amendment fees. So what have you got to lose?!
6. Spring is the new summer
Remember how hot and sunny it was last spring? Who wants to be stuck inside your house in the heat when you could be by the sea in sunny Southport? Our Sandpipers gardens are in full bloom right now and enjoy a lovely breeze off the Marine Lake. So if you’re holding out for better weather, don’t leave it too long, the British summer is never reliable but spring is certainly seeing the sun at the moment!
7. Booking has never been so easy
Our bookings team are absolutely lovely – it’s a fact. Just give them a call on 0303 303 0145 or email them at email@example.com and they will do their best to answer any questions or concerns you have right away. We know things are complicated right now, which is why we want to be as helpful as we can, so if you’re still not sure, and just want to chat through some options first, we’re always available.
