As we hope the stories we’ve shared this week have served to demonstrate, we understand the true value that volunteering can have and how, in pledging one’s time to a volunteering experience, it really can be the gift that keeps on giving.

Here, we share with you the fantastic news that Revitalise is now a Residential Approved Activity Provider (AAP) licensed by the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE). Hooray!

The DofE is aimed at young people aged 14-24 and is a fantastic opportunity to gain life skills, training and an award while experiencing residential volunteering. The DofE has a plethora of Approved Activity Providers offering a variety of fruitful opportunities to young people all across the country, and we are delighted to be one such organisation.

We passionately believe that our volunteers should be given the opportunity to gain the recognition they deserve, not only in being thanked for their support and dedication, but more importantly, in gaining the training and acknowledgement they require to ensure their volunteering experience stands them with the best chance of personal and professional development.

That’s why we’ve joined together with our friends at the DofE and are proud to have become a Residential Approved Activity Provider. If you would like to find out more about our partnership with the DofE click here or if you have any questions you’d like to ask, feel free to call us on 0303 303 0147, or email us at

We look forward to hearing from you!
