Dunelm Southport donates bedding and towels for disabled people and their carers at Merseyside’s Revitalise
Respite charity Revitalise were delighted to receive a very welcome donation of fresh white towels and bed sheets from the local Dunelm store, for use at their Sandpipers centre in Southport.
Throughout the pandemic, Sandpipers has been welcoming disabled guests from across the UK, who have been forced to isolate for the last 12 months, providing them a much needed break with some comfort and company. Working tirelessly to alleviate the impact of Covid 19 on the country’s most vulnerable people, Revitalise are incredibly grateful for the support from Dunelm. The gift allows funds normally spent on bed linen and towels to be redirected to help subsidise a break for those in desperate situations.
Fundraising Manager Clare said “We want to extend our sincere thanks to the Dunelm team for supporting Sandpipers. Our Southport team work tirelessly to provide much needed breaks for disabled people and carers at our lakeside facility, and we are so grateful to have our community behind us.”
As life starts to return to normal and confidence grows, Revitalise are seeing an increase in demand for their vital services. Revitalise Sandpipers must be able to continue supporting disabled people and their carers.
