Revitalise and The Holiday Property Bond launch partnership to provide carers with much-needed breaks
Revitalise has partnered with The Holiday Property Bond (HPB) to provide much-needed breaks for carers. This partnership will support carers in accessing essential respite, and a proper holiday at one of HPB’s 32 locations across 13 countries.
Many carers maintain their role for long periods of time, with little or no time off. Research carried out by Revitalise shows a third of carers have not had any significant time off since they started caring, and with 90% not being able to access a proper holiday, many are close to breaking point.
HPB are supporting Revitalise with £5k already pledged towards carers receiving a well-deserved break.
Commenting on the new partnership, Revitalise Chief Executive Chris Simmonds said:
“This exciting new partnership gives us the opportunity to offer carers a much-needed rest while their loved ones enjoy a break of their own with Revitalise.
“We are passionate about giving everyone the opportunity to take a break and partnering with The Holiday Property Bond will assist us in achieving this.”
HPB’s Chairman Geoffrey Baber added:
“We are so pleased to be able to welcome some of the millions of deserving carers in the UK to our sites.
“Supporting disabled people and their loved ones is something we are especially passionate about, and from the reactions of bondholders so far, they are just as eager as we are to help provide more much-needed holidays for carers.
We now relish the challenge of making sure that the carers chosen by Revitalise to holiday on HPB’s sites have a truly wonderful time.”
