We are committed to ensuring we offer the best possible support to our guests during their holiday. All of our holiday centres have been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission – see our CQC ratings below

Personalised care plans

We understand that everybody’s care needs are different, so when you make a booking, we ask a series of questions to get an overview of your medical conditions and establish which Care Support Package suits you. Before your break, our nurses will phone to go through pre-assessment questions, identifying your exact needs and addressing any concerns. You tailored care plan will be confirmed on arrival at the centre, although we can be contacted before this point if further queries arrive.

Expert care tailored to you

At Revitalise, you can rest assured that you will be in safe hands. Our dedicated team of nurses and Holiday Care Assistants have the expertise needed to meet your care needs and ensure you have a worry-free holiday.  We offer 24 hour on-call nursing and personal care, with fully qualified staff available on request all day, every day. We also have volunteers who provide support and companionship, both at the centre and out on excursions to make sure every guest has a truly fulfilling break.

Our Care Support Packages

We also have five different Care Support Packages, designed to make sure that our guests only pay for the level of support that they need.

Guests who are accompanying a disabled guest as a companion will have the support of our team to rest, rejuvenate, and spend time with their friend or loved one. We also offer a wellness support meeting with our nurses to help with ongoing health and wellbeing and to ensure you have the right level of support in place when returning home.

Care Support Package 1
No specific care needs, but the reassurance of knowing our Holiday Care Team is on hand should you need it.

Care Support Package 2
Level 1 reassurance, plus personal care support, such as help with dressing and washing in the mornings and evenings, or any assistance with medication.

Care Support Package 3
Including all of Level 1 & 2, plus support with a hoist or with moving assistance from two people at a time, or with any wound care, PEG, stoma, catheter or other clinical procedures.

Care Support Package 4
All of Level 1, 2 & 3 plus full nutritional care such as assistance to eat at mealtimes.

Care Support Package 5
One to one care support for some or all of the time during your holiday.

If you are a carer or companion, you do not need to pay for a Care Support Package.  To find out more about our Care Support Packages, please read page 11 of our brochure.

A break for carers too

Carers need a break too. Whether you choose to join your loved one you care for or have a break elsewhere, you can leave the care to us.

You are also welcome to see what we do for yourself before booking your break, so please get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit to one of our centres.

Care Quality Commission

CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Jubilee Lodge, Sandpipers and Netley Waterside House are all registered with CQC. For more information, please visit the CQC website.

  • If you use a hoist to transfer, you need to be aware that we can only use our slings as these are inspected every 6 months and certified by LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations). If you have a specialist sling you wish to use, you will need to bring an up to date  LOLER certificate with you. We cannot guarantee scheduled daily routines for guests that are accustomed to this level of assistance at home. However, we will try our best to ensure your needs are met as much as possible. Whilst out on trips it is not always possible to provide hoisting assistance when visiting the toilet. A number of our guests choose to use pads. Each guest participating on trips is assessed in advance.
  • If you choose to self-medicate you will be allocated a bedroom and key. A risk assessment will be conducted upon arrival to ensure your safety and that of other guests.
  • If you use personalised equipment at home such as a wheelchair or Zimmer frame, we would kindly request that you bring this along.
