Respite stays in August & September

We’re offering stays this August and September at Netley Waterside House and Sandpipers that are designed to give guests a change of scenery where they can rely on expert care in fully accessible surroundings.

These stays are subject to an isolation period of seven days prior to guests’ stay, and a further seven days upon arrival. Guests will be offered a Covid-19 test at the centre and if it comes back negative, their isolation period can be reduced. In addition, because we know that this isn’t our usual holiday experience, the first seven days of your stay will be reduced by a third of the cost.

During the isolation period there is still plenty to enjoy; with room service dining and in-room activities and companionship from our friendly staff. Post isolation, guests can enjoy our restaurant, bar and grounds and other amenities. During their stay, other health and safety measures will be in place including temperature checks, social bubbling and a restriction on all non-essential staff in the centres.

Breaks later this year

We will be offering respite break bookings this autumn. Although these are likely to be very different from our usual holiday experience, we still hope to offer themed weeks with adapted activities and entertainment, depending on the up to date government guidance at the time.

All safety measures are subject to change and there may be an initial isolation period required, but this will be confirmed nearer the time.

Supporting disabled people and the NHS through the pandemic

Over the last few months we are proud to have navigated our way through Covid-19, and like many other organisations we had to adapt significantly. Jubilee Lodge has been supporting the NHS, welcoming patients who do not have the virus; freeing up essential beds in local hospitals for those that do.

Netley Waterside House has also supported the NHS, as well as joining Sandpipers in being a safe-haven for disabled people whose care or mental health have been seriously impacted by the pandemic.

Now, with the easing of lockdown restrictions, our centres are beginning to re-open for respite breaks. Meaning you can finally get that break you deserve – now more than ever!

FAQ's

We will make our fleet of accessible minibuses available for guests that are staying 3 weeks or longer, at no extra cost. For shorter stays, we  can discuss low cost transport options with you, or you can arrange your own transport.

We currently have a restriction on all non-essential staff in the centres so visitors will not be able to come to you. However, we know many guests like to see family and friends during their stay and this may be something we can offer depending on the local rules around each centre.

Yes. Before you visit us we will ask you to take a Covid-19 test during your seven day isolation at home, and then you will need to take another test once you arrive at the centre.

We will call you during your first seven days of isolation to arrange for a Covid-19 test to be sent to your home, and then we will provide a second test for you on arrival at the centre.

Later in the year we hope to begin offering themed weeks again, with safely adapted activities and entertainment.

However, these breaks are still likely to be very different from our usual holiday experience, and will be subject to change depending on the up to date government guidance at the time.

We have implemented all the necessary coronavirus safety measures at our centres, including setting up ways that we can socially distance guests.

As well as the required isolation period, other measures in place include temperature checks, social bubbling and a restriction on all non-essential staff in the centres. We will also stagger the arrival of our guests and limit the number staying in each centre at any one time, to ensure social distancing is always manageable.

At Revitalise our absolute clear priorities are your health and safety when staying with us, hopefully giving you the confidence to take a safe break at Revitalise when you can.

We are regularly in touch with the UK government to follow their guidance and are updating things daily in our centres to minimise the risks. We are also following government advice for organisations that provide care, to make sure we are doing things right.
