How your donation supports Revitalise

Holidays matter to us all. To help us escape from the everyday. To make relationships come alive. To improve wellbeing.

We know for many disabled people and their carers this is out of reach and we believe everyone should have a break, irrespective of their circumstances.

2 in 3 people in the UK will be affected by a disability by the time they are 85. Revitalise are proud to help thousands of disabled people and carers each year take much needed breaks, but with your help, there are thousands more we could support.

We understand the importance of caring for a loved one, but also the vital need for a respite break so our guests can become husband and wife again, brother and sister, mother and daughter and not simply carer and cared for.

Two-thirds of UK adults can expect to become an unpaid carer during their lifetime, highlighting the importance of respite breaks for the majority of the UK adult population.

Your donation helps us create respite holiday experiences that are full of fantastic excursions and entertainment.

Our centres not only provide excellent 24-hour care with our experienced nurses, but also ensures our guests get the best fully accessible holiday experience.

What your donation contributes towards

Revitalise spends over £8.3 million a year to ensure high quality care for disabled guests at our centres, yet we receive no central government funding. We have to make every penny count and we urgently need the support and generosity of our fundraisers.

Your donation will help towards (but not limited to):
  • Nursing care
  • Subsidising the cost of running a specialist Alzheimer’s week
  • Funding guests who could not otherwise afford a break
  • Funding a guest’s excursion to the theatre
However you support us; whether you raise a small amount from a cake sale to larger amounts from sporting events, leaving a legacy or a donation in memory of a loved one, we are immensely grateful for your support.
