What we fund

Apply Now

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, Revitalise is currently able to fund:

  • Respite breaks and holidays for disabled people and carers aged 18+ at locations of the applicant’s choice including in the UK and abroad. We can also signpost to a list of UK providers we are aware of. If a disabled person and their carer want to take a holiday together, we will consider funding both individuals. Our typical grant per individual is £500 although in exceptional cases we may award more.
  • Respite in the home so that carers can take a break. We will provide funding of up to £100 towards respite in the home.
  • Day trips for disabled people and carers aged 18+ to destinations of your choice, up to a maximum of £100 per applicant although in exceptional cases we may award more. You can spend the funding on any parts of the trip that you like – transport, tickets for attractions, meals, care support, etc.
  • Day activities. We will provide funding of up to £100 towards attending day activities in your local community.
  • Opportunities for social connection, up to a maximum of £100 per applicant although in exceptional circumstances we may award more. What will fund in this category is quite broad and includes any opportunity for a disabled person or carer to get out, meet people, make new friends and have new experiences.
