Recieve Funding
Applications are open year-round and each month we have a maximum amount of grants we can distribute.

Founded as The Winged Fellowship Trust in 1963, we provided unique respite holidays for over 60 years. Since 1996, when we were renamed Revitalise, we have provided over 42,000 respite breaks to people in real need. However, in November 2024, we were left with no option but to close our holiday centres due to the huge increases in the costs of providing our breaks and the reductions in available respite funding from Local Authorities and grant-makers.
Despite this, we were determined to continue the legacy of our Founder, Joan Brander, in ensuring that disabled people and family carers continue to enjoy the breaks and holidays they need. Caring for a loved one can be relentless and exhausting and without respite, many carers reach burnout. For disabled people needing care support, accessing appropriate holidays, social activities and opportunities to make social connections can be extremely challenging, leaving many disabled people experiencing loneliness and social isolation.
Today, our work focuses on providing grants to enable disabled adults and their carers to enjoy the respite breaks, holidays and social connections they need.
We provide funding for respite breaks and holidays, social activities like day trips, and opportunities for people to meet and make social connections. Any disabled person or carer over the age of 18 can apply for a grant towards a break or experience that would make a meaningful difference to them.
Applications are open year-round and each month we have a maximum amount of grants we can distribute. This is because as a small charity there is a maximum number of grants we can give out each year. We give priority to those who have not had a grant before or in the last 12 months, but welcome repeat applications.
We also welcome applications from groups who wish to holiday or take a trip together.
