Revitalise Jubilee Lodge keeps Four Star VisitEngland rating

Following a recent assessment, Revitalise Jubilee Lodge comfortably retains its VisitEngland Four Star Guest Accommodation rating. Since its pre-Covid last assessment, Jubilee Lodge has undergone a number of physical improvements to its guest areas, most notably in 14 of the 31 guest bedrooms.

The National Accessible ratings of Mobility One (older and less agile guests), Mobility Two (part time wheelchair users) Mobility Three Exceptional Assisted and Independent, Visual One (partially sighted) and Hearing Two (guests with limited or no hearing) are all achieved at the time of this visit. These National Accessible ratings will remain in force for a period of three years.

Guest room refurbishments well received

On the assessment, it was noted that the 14 fully refurbished bedrooms meet an excellent standard. Since refurbishment, guests who have stayed in the new rooms have all been impressed with the new style. These will serve as a blueprint for the refurbishment of all 31 rooms in due course.

A significant time period since VisitEngland’s last visit was due to both Covid, and the premises being used as a Covid centre by the NHS.
