Samantha Cameron Revitalise Patron

Our Patron Samantha Cameron

Revitalise are proud to be supported by our Patron, Samantha Cameron. Read more about how Samantha has supported us below.

Samantha Cameron is a businesswoman and the wife of former Prime Minister David Cameron. Samantha’s interest in Revitalise came about as a result of her having hosted a successful fundraising dinner for Revitalise at Chequers in November 2012. Revitalise gratefully accepted Samantha’s subsequent offer of patronage and she was officially announced as the new Patron of Revitalise during a visit to Jubilee Lodge on 2 July 2013.

On her role as Patron, Samantha said:

“Revitalise are an amazing charity that gives the disabled a holiday away from home and their carers an invaluable break to recharge. Having a respite break makes all the difference when helping to keep vulnerable loved ones at home and families together rather than falling apart.

As a Patron of Revitalise, and parent of a disabled child, I feel passionately about supporting such a dedicated team of specialised nurses, carers and their extraordinary army of volunteers.”

As well as Revitalise, Samantha supports a number of other charitable causes including Contact a Family and the Big Splash Trust. She is also Creative Consultant for the luxury accessory company Smythson Bond Street, of which she was formerly Creative Director, and runs her own high-end, women’s clothing brand, Cefinn.

In the lead up to Christmas 2020, Cefinn will be donating £5 from every order to Revitalise.
