Revitalise London head office staff and volunteers

Volunteer with our Central Support Team

Situated in North London, our office is a great place to volunteer if you’re hoping to pursue a career in charity, hospitality, healthcare or business administration. Our teams include Marketing, Fundraising, Bookings, Finance and HR. We’re always very busy, so we’d love for you to join us!

Why Volunteer in our London Office

Whether you’re a student, returning to work after a career break or want to try something new, volunteering in our charity Head Office based in London or remotely, is a great way to get work experience and gain valuable skills. We provide volunteers with a wide range of opportunities in various teams to ensure it is a rewarding experience..

Our vision is to create a society in which every disabled person and every carer is able to take the break or holiday they want. By getting involved, you’ll have a direct impact on making that happen.

Our Values

  • We are inclusive. We welcome everyone.
  • We are change-makers. We make things happen for our guests and for disabled people.
  • We are caring. We care about our guests and about each other. We are guest obsessed.
  • We are joyful. Fun, warmth and laughter are at the heart of everything we do.
  • We are hardworking. We strive for excellence and we do not give up.

Which teams can I volunteer with?

Our head office teams include Marketing, Fundraising, Bookings, Finance and HR. You could work within a team on a specific project or support across departments and try a variety of roles.

Volunteering within a team of your choice

If you’re working towards a certain career path, then you may want to gain some practical work experience in a specific department. Here are some examples of how you could get involved:

  • Marketing: Assisting with blog writing, social media, website content management, research, design and copywriting
  • Fundraising: Helping with organised events, updating our databases and drafting appeal communications
  • Bookings: Answering and fielding calls, tracking digital enquiries, inputting client details into our bookings system

Volunteering across departments

If you’re unsure of your future plans, you may just wish to get a taste for the different options available to you. Working across our different teams will give you valuable exposure to how a charity operates. ou could also help us with general admin, such as photocopying, filing and data entry.

What hours can I work?

Our office is open from 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday-Friday and we offer flexible and part-time hours as well as remote working to suit your schedule.

Every individual is unique, and it’s important to understand whether a volunteering placement at Revitalise, aligns with your interests and capabilities. Whether you personally have a disability or not, we strive to accommodate everyone, ensuring all are welcome.

We encourage applications from individuals with disabilities and carefully assess each application to determine if our volunteer centres can meet your requirements and what adjustments we can make where needed.  In some cases this might involve inviting you to consider a different role to that which first attracted you.  For example, if you have a physical disability that would make it challenging for you to directly support our guests in a residential placement in our holiday centres, you may want to support our social media work, send thank you letters to donors or support our community fundraising.
